Wind damage to Elkhart home

This home's roof was damaged during a storm. It had a substantial amount of water damage from the rain coming through the roof. In this kitchen, there were multiple layers of ceiling including drywall, 2 layers of acoustical tile and insulation both blown-in and batt style. We removed all the layers of ceiling and the very wet insulation. After removing all the water damaged materials we were able to begin drying the ceiling rafters and original wood board roof decking. We set our equipment to focus drying to the upper part of the kitchen as it was the most affected by the intrusion of the rain water.
