How to Prevent Water Damage
11/11/2022 (Permalink)
Water damage is the #1 thing that weakens your homes foundation. When water damage hits the core of your home, it eventually causes serious structural damage. By repairing water leaks such as dripping pipes, cracked caulking, loose, missing, or damaged shingles, you can prevent water damage. Nature outside of the home can also be a culprit for water damage. Certain plants, trees, shrubs, and leaves can contribute to water damage. When the water is not draining properly the dirt around the foundation can separate and pool around the home. Downspouts should be at least 5-10’ away from the house.
