If water is present on these surfaces, mold grows into active colonies and spread. Mold can also grow on surfaces like metal, plastic, and glass if moisture is present. Some people are not affected by mold, but for others, mold symptoms include allergies, fatigue, headache, runny nose, and dry throat.
